Accessibility Statement

We believe memories belong to everyone. We are committed to making our customizer, keepsake profiles, and digital memory vaults accessible to all.

The Tap Co. is dedicated to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to satisfy modern web needs.

1. Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

The Tap Co. is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard (e.g. some complex interactive 3D elements in our generative studio might have partial keyboard navigation limits).

2. Accessibility Features

We have designed our digital keepsake platform with accessibility in mind:

  • Alternative Text: We provide descriptive alt text for images, buttons, and custom keepsake illustrations.
  • Semantic HTML: All routes use structured HTML5 tags (headings, main, nav, labels) to assist screen readers.
  • Keyboard Navigation: Most interactive flows can be operated entirely using standard Tab and Enter keys.
  • Contrast & Sizing: Text elements maintain strong contrast ratios to remain legible on varied mobile displays.

3. Assistive Technology Compatibility

The Tap Co. website is designed to be compatible with:

  • Modern desktop and mobile web browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
  • Screen readers such as VoiceOver on iOS/macOS and TalkBack on Android.
